These incredible pineapple rice bowls started with @oakridgebbq Saigon 21 Seasoning on thick pork chops that were cubed then skewered with fresh pineapple, onion, and red bell pepper.
.
These were grilled on the @pkgrills PKTX using @grillgrates and @jealousdevilcharcoal
.
The pineapple bowls were filled a combo of white and cauli rice then topped with hot kabobs and drizzled with @trybachans Original Sauce.
.
This was a super refreshing meal on a hot day!

Took the burnt ends and made some burnt end sandwiches. Added a slice of cheese (cuz I like cheese) and some sweet and spicy thiccccccc cut pickles. Drizzled some of that @texaspepperjelly peach mango habanero SAAAUUUCCEEE and hit the spot. Been a good shift so far but ready for this 48 tour to be over with!

Got given a pork shoulder from a local farmer and thought ..... get it rubbed get it in the proq for 3 hours then placed it in a tin boat with some Schwarz beer and some I’m peached #trucknorrisbbq and some butter for another two or three hours then hey presto !! Some great pulled pork !. 😋

Sweet Chili Ginger Chicken Lettuce Cups with an Evel flare!!

This started as a @realhomechef meal kit and we which was nice and easy for a Sunday night.

But, we can’t just leave things alone so the ground chicken was seasoned with @oakridgebbq Saigon 21 and @texaspepperjelly Apple n Brown Sugar Habanero Rib Candy. Added the perfect flavor that was missing and the basalmic glaze drizzle was the perfect finishing touch!!

Brisket burnt end are done. Hit em with the sauce and let them ride out over the @jealousdevilcharcoal on the @webergrills. Took the brisket points I had left over. Hit them again with my brisket rubs of @bbqrubdown and @oakridgebbq as well. Playing with some flavor profiles and dipped this piece in some @texaspepperjelly bird bath and I’m amazed at just how damn good it went with the beef. Don’t know why the fruity taste paired extremely well with the Smokey tangy flavor of the beef, but I was not disappointed. May be adding this to the comp recipe to try out.....

Made four Pork Butts for my Nephews 1st Birthday. I’ve been working on my own rub for a while and I think I finally nailed it. It’s a FODMAP Rub for those that suffer from stomach issues like my wife. I believe everyone should be able to enjoy what they love regardless of their restrictions.

Rolled the smoke all night at 225° till IT temp reached 205°. Put them to rest for 3hrs in my @mammothcooler They came out melt in your mouth good.

Appreciate you guys! Hope you guys had an Amazing weekend.

Back to work. While cooking is a lot of fun, got to pay some bills 😈😈.
Was slicing up the rest of the brisket from this weekends cookoff and got the idea to make some burnt ends. Since the raptor was still loaded up with all my #bbq stuff, figured why not?? Grabbed the @webergrills kettle and the rest of my @jealousdevilcharcoal and got it ready. Cubed the brisket points and hit them with the @bbqrubdown base coat and some @oakridgebbq and sauced with that killer hogs vinegar sauce. Little brown sugar and added my brisket injection to the mix as well. Should turn out good. Meanwhile, I’ll be here studying and working on tweaking my bbq playbook. New things I want to try. I’ll bounce back.

- Cowboy Ribeye Steak -

I picked up this beautiful cut of meat from Longhorn Meats in Auburn, CA. It weighed in at 2.5lbs and the marbling was amazing!
.
I put a base layer of @thelawmanrubco “The Joint” seasoning (Butter,Garlic, other seasonings) and then added a top layer of @oakridgebbq Black Ops Seasonings.
.
I cooked this at about 250 on my @pkgrills PKTX using a combo of @jealousdevilcharcoal lump and briquettes. For a little extra depth, I used a wood chunk from a wine barrel out of the #napavalley for smoke.
.
This was sliced and served with hasselback potatoes and fresh homemade broccoli slaw.
